If you wish to set up your editorial office account, please visit www.accredito.com/register/and select “Register an editorial office account” from the available options. Enter the required data in the registration form. Please, read the terms and conditions and confirm that you accept them. Following the selection of the “Register” option, your account will be set up. You still have to activate it. Check your mailbox. You will receive a message with an activation link to the email address you provided during registration. Please click on it or copy into your browser’s window. Once the web page has uploaded, you will receive the account set up confirmation.

Since the editorial account is a public account, it must be approved by the Accredito.com Customer Service. Our staff will verify the correctness of the registration and your account will be fully activated within 72 hours at the latest. As soon as your account has been activated, we will send you a message to the email address provided during registration. Verification of the editorial office registration is necessary to avoid unauthorized persons from using the name of your editorial office.

Thaks to the editorial office account set up, journalists having their own accounts at Accredito.com will be able to assign them to a chosen editorial office. From this point on, they will be able to accredit for chosen events as well as communicate with spokespersons as journalists representing a given editorial office.

Please select the “Journalists” option from the menu on the left hand side, if you wish to send invitations to your journalists allowing them to assign to the editorial office. You will find a text field in the “Invitations” tab where you can enter the journalist’s email address. Once the “Send” button has been selected, a message with an activation link allowing for the assignment of the journalist to the editorial office will be send to him/her.

In this way, every journalist can send an assignment to your editorial office request within his/her own account. In order to be able to use the Accredito.com system as a member of your editorial staff, you will have to accept his/her application. Until that time, there will be a note in the system by his/her editorial office saying “(unconfirmed)”.

If you log in to your editorial account or an account of an editor having administrator privileges, you will find a “Journalists” option in the left menu. Once you select it, a “Journalists awaiting verification” list will appear on the screen. You may select the “Approve” option by each journalist’s name which will result in his/her assignment to the editorial office.

You may select the “Delete” option by a journalist’s name, which will result in his/her being removed from the editorial office.

If you wish to appoint editorial office's administrators, once you log in to your account, please select the “Administrators” option from the left menu. In the “Add administrators” tab, please mark those users on the journalist list to whom you wish to grant administrator powers. When you click the “Add powers” button, your settings will be saved.

By doing so, you may choose the editorial office administrators only from the list of journalists assigned to the editorial office. If the person you wish to appoint as an administrator is not your editorial journalist yet, please send him/her an invitation to your editorial office in first order.

An editorial office administrator can handle those requests for the assignment to the editorial office which have been sent to the editorial office at Accreditation.com. He/she can also individually send invitations to join the editorial office to other journalists.

Once you have logged in to your journalist account, please select the option to use Accredito.com as an administrator of an editorial office. Additional options, available exclusively for editorial administrators, will be displayed in the left menu. Please select the “Journalists” option. A “journalists awaiting verification” list will appear. You may select the “Approve” option by each journalist’s name which will result in his/her assignment to the editorial office. On the “Journalists assigned to the editorial office” list, you may select the “Delete” option by each journalist’s name, which will result in his/her removal from the editorial office.

If you wish to remove the editorial office administrators, please select the “Administrators” option from the left menu. In the “Administrators” tab, please select the delete option by a chosen name. Please note, that you can only revoke the administrator powers from the chosen journalist. After selecting this option, he/she will still remain your editorial office’s journalist, however, will no longer hold administrator powers.

If you wish to edit the editorial office’s profile, please log in to the editorial account and select the “My account” option from the top menu.

No. Access to the editorial account is free of charge. The journalists’ and administrators’ management options are free of charge.
